Hi guys,

What is your solution when you cannot login your Azure account?

Well... I hope that you configured alternative authentication options since if you did not, this might not be so simple. If nothing else helped and you want to get a human support so you will be able to discuss with Microsoft expert about your undocumented options then you need to contact the support team.

There is "only" one challenge in this... In order to open a support ticket we need to login to Microsoft services. This is true in the Azure as well as in other services like Visual Studio Subscriptions(formally called MSDN subscriptions). So this leads direct to the chicken or the egg dilemma in the case our issue is with login to the account. We cannot login so we cannot open a support ticket.

💬 wikipedia: The chicken or the egg causality dilemma is commonly stated as the question, "which came first: the chicken or the egg?" The dilemma stems from the observation that all chickens hatch from eggs and all chicken eggs are laid by chickens.

This VERY SHORT post simply provides a way to bypass this issue regarding the Azure (in other services you might find other solutions fit better). This post based on my answer in this forums thread.

Option 1: You can ask someone else who have excess to the Azure to open a ticket in his account asking the team to contact you

Option 2: You can open a free account and use it to open a a support ticket.

Option 3: Reach out to Microsoft general Customer Service based on your region: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4051701/global-customer-service-phone-numbers

Or... you can use the nuclear secrete, which is option 4 👀 

Did you know that there is a special place where you can open ticket and contact the Azure support team directly, even if you cannot sign-in your account. To be fair, I had no idea about this option before I gave the answer in the forum few months ago🙄

When I saw this question in the forum I was wondering what is Microsoft official solution for such cases, so I directly contact the Azure team using internal close channels and they provided the following link 😃

This form allows you to create a ticket without the need to login first. It is not for product technical support, but for cases like described in this post

So, next time if you hear about this need, you know you have few options including the nuclear secrete form
